● The application procedure for admission fee/tuition fee waiver, deferment and monthly installment will be handled by the Financial Support Section, Student Services Division for students of all campuses.
● In addition to the full amount and half amount of tuition waiver, there is a one third amount of the tuition waiver.
Everything written on waiver application and all documents submitted with an application must be true and correct. When facts which differ from those on the application or intentional misinformation are found, the tuition fee waiver will be cancelled even after the approval. Furthermore, all fees must be paid to the University immediately.

1. Tuition fee waiver

Students who are recognized as having difficulty in paying tuition for economic reasons and who are recognized as having outstanding academic capabilities, and students recognized as having other unavoidable circumstances may be exempted from the payment of the full amount, half the amount or one third the amount of tuition after the screening based on the application.

The application must be submitted in each semester. Information on the distribution of application forms and application period will be posted on the bulletin board, etc. Pay attention to the bulletin board to avoid missing the information.

2. Deferment or monthly installment of tuition payment

For students who are recognized as having difficulty in paying tuition by the deadline of payment for economic reasons and who are recognized as having outstanding academic capabilities, and students recognized as having other unavoidable circumstances, the tuition payment may be defer or paid by the month by the application.

The application must be submitted in each semester. Information on the distribution of application forms and application period will be posted on the bulletin board, etc. Pay attention to the bulletin board to avoid missing the information.

Tuition fee Waiver for the Second semester of the Year 2017

     
  1. (1)For those who applied for the "2017 First Semester Tuition Fee Waiver", when the family structure(in Japan), financial situation, etc., stated in the application for the first semester 2017 are not changed in the application for the second semester 2017, following documents need to be submitted instead of the Tuition Fee Application Form.

  3. (2)When you wish to apply for tuition fee waiver except(1), submit the application form by following the instructions below.

How to obtain the application form:

  1. (1) Ask for (obtain) the application form directly at the counter of the Financial Support Section, Student Services Division.
  2. (2) Send a request for the application form by postal mail.
    Fill in your name, address, and prepare return envelope (type No. 2 Kakugata size A4 document 240mm x 332mm) with a 250 JPY stamp (or 380 JPY stamp for both admission fee and tution fee waiver application forms) attached to the following address.

  3. (3) Download the application form from the website and print it.

◎Current Students:From Thursday, August 24, 2017 to Friday, September 8, 2017.
◎New undergraduates and new postgraduates to be enrolled in October:From Thursday, August 24, 2017 to Wednesday, September 27, 2017.

Be sure to submit the application by the deadline.

*The application will not be accepted after the deadline.

Place:

Result:

The result of application for tuition fee waiver will be posted on the Student Affairs Information System in the middle of July for the first semester and middle of December for the second semester, instead of being sent by postal mail from 2016.

* Submit the application in person (the application by proxy will not be accepted.) The application will not be accepted for any reason after deadline.
* Consult with the Student Services Division at 022-795-7816 /4682 by the day before deadline when there are circumstances for not being able to submit the application by the deadline, such as being hospitalized or long-term business trip, etc. Any claim after the deadline will not be accepted.

* Students who will enroll in the graduate school (including those who advance to the graduate school) and are currently enrolled in the University as of September 2017 may submit the application to the Financial Support Section, Student Services Division or the temporary windows in each campus during the period of application (August 29 to September 27) which is the same period of application as new undergraduates and new postgraduates.

*Those who are planning to take a temporary leave or return after the temporary leave, finish the Course or leave university in the middle of the semester, cannot apply for tuition fee waiver.
In any of those cases, applicants must immediately report to the Financial Support Section and the application will be withdrawn.

◎Current Students:
From August 24, 2017 to September 26(except for Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.)
◎New undergraduates and new postgraduates to be enrolled in October:
From August 24, 2017 to October 5, 2017(except for Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.)

*The application will not be accepted after the deadline.

Place:

Result:

The result of application for deferment/monthly instalment of the tuition payment will be posted on the Students Affairs Information System in the end of April for the first semester and in the end of October for the second semester.
